Software Updates
Update 1.0.4, Oct. 23 2007
Contains important folder comparison and synchronization fixes and enhancements:
- Places copy operations on a separate thread and adds a progress monitor to them. Eliminates unnecessary comparison updates during and after copying of files and folders.
- Changes the step of scrolling the comparison trees via the mouse wheel from one to three items (Windows-only).
- Fixes known issues with the software update mechanism.
Deltopia recommends this update to all users of version 26-Sep-2007-1.
Important: Update 1.0.4 is incompatible with previous updates applied to DeltaWalker installations prior to the 26-Sep-2007-1 release.
Users of versions prior to 26-Sep-2007-1 who have installed update 1.0.3 and wish to take advantage of the functionality offered by 1.0.4 must reinstall DeltaWalker using the latest available binaries.
Steps to reinstall DeltaWalker:
1. Uninstall/delete you current DeltaWalker installation:
1a. If you used the MSI installer, go to Control Panel and uninstall DeltaWalker using the Add or Remove Programs functionality. If you used any of the other installation packages, delete the
DeltaWalker installation folder.
1b. Delete the ".metadata" folder located in your user folder. For instance, on Windows this
will be something like "C:\Documents and Settings\<your user
name>\.deltawalker\.metadata"; on the Mac and Linux it'll be ~/.deltawalker/.metadata.
Please keep in mind that on Mac OS X and Linux folders beginning with '.' are not
visible by default, therefore the easiest way to delete ~/.deltawalker is to
start Terminal and type "rm -fr ~/.deltawalker/.metadata".
2. Download and install the latest available binaries for the platform(s) of your choice.

- Introduces file and folder Patch creation support.
- Adds new key bindings for navigating matching differences: (Ctrl+Shift+Mouse Wheel) and (Shift+Next/Previous Difference Button Click).
